“Top Of The World” is a composition inspired by the beauty and tranquility of Laguna Beach. An abstract aerial view of the downtown gradually transitions into a view from the main beach looking to the defined silhouette of the Catalina Island on the horizon. Vertical beams of circular elements represent the ever changing color spectrum of the sun’s reflections on the sky, land, and ocean. 12 pairs of horizontal stripes depict the year-round sunshine alternating with the characteristic marine layer on the coast of Southern California.
