“Vermillion Sky” is an abstract composition combining a city silhouette by the water and a dramatic sunset atmosphere. Dark outline of the buildings stand out boldly against the brightly illuminated sky which is transitioning softly into vermilion hues. Reflections on the water are expressed with patterns of abstractions in terms of texture and color tonality on the lower part of the painting leading into a feeling of peacefulness.
